RECIPE 03 MADE WITH LOVE

Alphonso Mango Ice Cream

Make rich and creamy homemade mango ice cream using one full 850 g tin of MangoPetee® Alphonso Mango Pulp.

3–3.5 litres · Freeze for 6–8 hours

Ingredients

  • 850 g MangoPetee® Alphonso Mango Pulp, chilled
  • 2 cups (475 ml) heavy whipping cream
  • 1 can (14 oz / 396 g) sweetened condensed milk
  • ½ tsp cardamom powder, optional
  • Chopped pistachios or almonds, optional

How to Make It

  1. Whip the cold heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine the mango pulp and condensed milk.
  3. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mango mixture until smooth and evenly combined.
  4. Add cardamom if desired.
  5. Transfer to a freezer-safe container, cover, and freeze for 6–8 hours or overnight.
  6. Let it sit at room temperature for about 5–10 minutes before scooping.
Chef's Tip

If your MangoPetee pulp is already sweetened, start with ½–¾ can condensed milk, taste and adjust. For unsweetened pulp, the full can usually works better.
